Spalding Sparrowmint is a character found in the Viva Piñata TV series. His singing is considered awful by Paulie Pretztail, who declares him to be the "worst singer on the whole island." However, after Professor Pester hypnotizes a whole lot of people with his music so he can get candy, Spalding's singing is what causes Paulie to break out of hypnotism. Paulie then attempts to be a worse signer than Spalding so that he can get him to un-hypnotize the rest of the Piñatas. Then, Professor Pester falls into his own hypnotism contraption and he and his other Sparrowmint piñatas sing for him and his Ruffians, annoying them to no end.
