Sour Candy is a type of candy that was invented by Professor Pester. Sour Candy is downright horrible and bad for a piñata, as the mere act of eating a sour candy is enough to make piñata instantly ill! They are dropped by Ruffians and Sour Piñatas. Also, piñatas will fart out sour candy if they eat a Hemlock weed head. Players should "sell" them to Lottie by paying her 10 Chocolate Coins for her to take them away, or destroy these candies with the shovel. If piñatas eat them, call Doc Patchingo before Dastardos comes, or else Dastardos will destroy the sick piñatas.
When a Sour Candy appears in the garden, a negative sound effect will play. Sour candy may be find hidden underground. Creating a pond in the spot the Sour Candy is hidden will cause it to appear.

The Sour Candy appears as a circular candy wrapped in a red wrapper. Black marks can be seen on the wrapper.
