The Reddhott is a red firefly piñata. It is the evolved form of the Taffly.

Heat and light are major factors in the Reddhott's life. Only by introducing a Taffly to a source of these things can you get hold of a Reddhott (not literally) in the first place, and romancing only triples the requirements.

Appearance

It looks like an orange and yellow Taffly covered in flames. It has bright blue wings and six small red legs.

• Having 5 Reddhotts in the garden helps to meet the Dragumfly's Unblock requirements. (Trouble in Paradise)
• Eating 1 Reddhott helps to meet the Salamango's Romance requirements.
• Eating 1 Reddhott helps to meet the Dragonache's Mature requirements.
• Winning a fight against a Reddhott helps to meet the Dragumfly's Resident requirements.

Other information

• Rather than breeding Reddhott piñata, it is far more cost-effective to breed Tafflies and evolve them if you wish to make money.

• Reddhotts dislike being watered with the watering can.

Glitches and Errors

• In Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, a wild Taffly may run into a Firebrand. If doused, it will become a resident Reddhott without ever becoming a resident Taffly.
• In Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise, a Reddhott may appear to still be on fire after it is doused. This glitch is only visual and goes away if the piñata is packed in a Crate and mailed.
