Did you know Buzzlegums like Honey? Well, so do Raisants, which is why the don’t get on.

Leafos gossips.

The Raisant is a small red ant piñata. They are full of energy and are quite a happy species. They live in a coral-like tree and are deeply terrified of Arocknids.

Perhaps the easiest prey on Piñata Island, Raisants are an easy meal for everything from Arocknids to Fizzlybears. But they deal with it well, chewing bits of fruit and taking it all out on Buzzlegums occasionally. It takes quite a while to get one.

Although the Raisant may seem happy, cheerful, and mostly innocent, they actually start fights against Buzzlegums constantly, and are never getting along. This may have to do with the fact that they both love and enjoy Honey. Keeping them in separate gardens or only having one or the other is the best solution to the problem.

Appearance[]

The Raisant is a red and yellow ant piñata. Its thin, sharp antennae are orange, and it has brown irises. It has six arched yellow legs, and an orange pattern on its face. It is small compared to most piñata, and has six legs. They are always smiling unless they're unhappy.

Rumors[]

  • Leafos tells the player that Buzzlegums like Honey, and Raisants do too, which is why they don’t get along well. This may be the reason why they fight, but it is not fully proven.

Errors and Glitches[]

  • The Raisant can sometimes freeze up on trees, or just never come down. You can either send the tree to the post office and send it to yourself and place it back in the garden, or sell it and grow a new one, if you want it to come down. This only happens in the original Viva Piñata.

In the TV Series[]

Rodney Raisant

Rodney Raisant.

Raisants in the TV series are depicted to be extremely small creatures about the size of an actual ant. However, in the game, they seem to be bigger than Whirlms.

Rodney Raisant[]

Rodney Raisant is a character in the Viva Pinata TV series. He is the owner of RodneyLand, a theme park for Raisants.

Commonly Asked Questions[]

How do I stop Buzzlegums and Raisants from fighting?

  • Sadly, you can’t really stop them from fighting. You can purchase a Red Eye Rainbow if you want, but it will only lower the chances of a fight, and won’t prevent them entirely. You can also gate up the Raisants, because the Buzzlegums will just fly away. Alternatively, you could try to hatch a Wildcard piñata, because Wildcards will never fight.

My Raisant keeps getting sick and I don’t know why. What’s happening?

  • It’s probably because it’s getting in fights with Buzzlegums, or you have too much space in the garden. Solve one of these two issues and see what happens.

Trivia[]

  • Raisants can climb trees.
  • Raisants dislike being watered from the watering can.
  • If you plan on having fruit trees in the garden, it would be advised not to have 6 or more Buttercups in the garden. This is to prevent Buzzlegums from coming in and starting fights.
  • Raisants, just like Buzzlegums, love Honey and it is considered to be their favorite food.
  • In the original game, one of the romance messages says "You're f-ant-asti", which is a typo (and one of the many ant puns) for the phrase "You're fantastic!"
