A party is an event that is a major element of the Viva Piñata franchise. In both the game series and TV series piñatas are sent to parties on a regular basis. The Cannoñata is used to launch piñatas to parties over the world. The Candiosity of a piñata must be at maximum level before the Cannoñata will allow a piñata to be sent to a party.
After being sent to a party, the piñata may return with Chocolate Coins or items such as Romance Candy and Happy Candy. In Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, the piñata's value will also increase.
In the TV Series[]
In the TV series, some piñatas may consider going to parties as work. Fergy Fudgehog, Paulie Pretztail, and Machi Moojoo are shown to be averse to going to parties.
