Like, the absolute greatest thing is the totally amazing accessories in the shop. Miss Petula has, like, the best taste in Piñata fashions, and you should listen to her advice if you want your Piñatas to look completely awesome.

Miss Petula (ミス・ペチュラ Misu Pechura) is a shopkeeper who owns Paper Pets she sells domestic pinatas and accessories for your piñatas. She seems to not like Leafos.

In the original Viva Piñata game, she will sell you Cluckles, Pudgeon, Ponocky, Goobaa, Moozipan, Barkbark, Kittyfloss, and Rashberry piñatas as pets. In Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise she doesn't sell piñatas, but she still sells accessories. She doesn't appear in Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise, and the job of selling accessories and pets goes to Gretchen Fetchem instead, along with her also handling the Post Office (and thus the selling and packaging of crates), which is Fannie Franker's job in the two console games.

Appearance

Miss Petula is a younger women with spiky medium length hair and green eyes that change shape like a cat's (her eyes are colored blue for her icon). She wears a yellow cat mask that surrounds the front and back of head but leaves her mouth visible. On top of her head she balances a fish bowl with a goldfish inside it. She wears a red shirt with yellow sleeves along with a red skirt and a yellow apron using a leash as a belt. She also has a red bell collar, yellow mittens, and paw shaped shoes.

Trivia

• Miss Petula & Fannie Franker are the only shopkeepers that didn't appear in Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise, and instead were both replaced by Gretchen Fetchem.
• When you first enter Petula's shop, she'll introduce herself by saying that her parents use to run Paper Pets but once she was able to do it herself "they went on a humongous holiday". And sometimes when you leave the shop, Petula will make the statement of "If you see my parents, tell them I do actually need to go home and sleep at some point." This implies that Petula is not running the shop out of her own free will, but rather her parents forced the role onto her by abandoning her once she was capable of supporting herself.
• If you talk to Leafos, she may tell you that you shouldn't listen to Petula because she always makes things up and gossips. However, this may be a better way to describe Leafos herself, since not everything she tells you is true or has questionable value to it.
• Several of her idle animations involve interacting with the fish above her head.
  • As a joke about her being dressed like a cat, she sometimes expresses a desire to eat the fish, licking her lips and rubbing her belly.
  • She will also sometimes take the fish out and kick it around like a hacky sack.
