The firebrand (usually referred as a torch) is a garden decoration that acts as a light. It can be purchased at Costolot's Store.

Most piñata, if near the Firebrand, will usually catch fire depending on their sizes, the bigger they are the more likely they will be burned by the decoration.

Acquisition

The Firebrand will be available to be purchased from Costolot’s Store after Lottie reopens. This happens on (or after) level 3.

Appearance

The Firebrand is a type of torch that can emit light after being turned on. It is made of (what appears to be) sticks or bamboo. The fire is held up with a blue cup-like object full of flint and rocks.

Purposes

• The Firebrand can be used to make the Mothdrop resident.
• Directing a Taffly to a Firebrand (when elited) and then pouring water over it with your watering can will turn it into a Reddhott.

Trivia

• If you have too many light sources in your garden, when you go to purchase a Firebrand from Lottie, she will tell you a few things about light pollution.
• The Taffly will never catch fire when not directed to the firebrand.
• The Firebrand somewhat resembles a Hawaiian torch.
• The firebrand can be placed on all surfaces, excluding mud, water, and hard soil.
