The Rashberry is a purple pig piñata.

The Rashberry is a species that proves rotten food can be useful, if you can be sure to keep the Mallowolves out of your pen. If it romances with the graceful Swanana, it might produce some interesting results.

Requirements (Original)[]

The Rashberry cannot be found in the wild. Instead, it must be purchased from Paper Pets's Piñata category for 1650 Chocolate Coins after reaching Gardener level 12. As such, it has no Appear, Visit, or Resident requirements.

Other information[]

  • Rashberries tend to become unhappy very quickly. If you own a Rashberry, make sure you keep the garden drowned in Happy Candy and Joy Candy! Rashberries will eat Happy Candy on their own, but must be directed to eat Joy Candy. If your Rashberry is already very sad then you must offer it Happy Candies to raise its mood before you can give it a Joy Candy to cheer it all the way up, since sad piñata will not obey orders.
  • An easy way to keep the Rashberry satisfied is to let it wear a Rashberry Hat.
  • Rashberries like to be watered with the Watering Can.
  • Tapping on a fresh fruit with the shovel will turn it rotten, which can be helpful for meeting the Rashberry's requirements.

Rumors[]

Glitches and Errors[]

  • Due to a glitch, in Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, rotten or fresh gooseberries both count towards meeting the Rashberry's Resident requirements, even though only rotten ones are supposed to work.

Commonly Asked Questions[]

Why won't my Rashberries eat Romance candy?[]

Make sure you've met their Romance requirements. If you haven't already romanced a pair of them once in that garden, they won't eat the candy. Make sure a predator (i.e. Mallowolf) isn't near the candy, which will scare them away from it. Try feeding them a Happy Candy if they're refusing out of sadness. A sad piñata won't obey any orders.
