The Macaraccoon (マカラクーン Makarakūn), known as "Macaracoon" in Viva Piñata, is a beige raccoon piñata.

It can be sent to find Romance Candy.

Appearance[]

It has a black pentagon shaped nose, beige head, and green irises. A purple mask pattern is imposed on top of its eyes. It has large, cone-shaped ears, each with two purple stripes, its body is beige with tan and brown markings covering most of it. The Macaraccoon also has an off-color white tail with a purple pattern.

Other information[]

  • A tamed Macaraccoon has a special "Find Romance Candy" ability that can by used by selecting it and pressing "x". This will earn an achievement for the player. After dispatching the Macaraccoon to find the Romance Candy, an alert will appear when it has succeeded. To get the achievement, the alert must be manually selected (using down on the d-pad) and then “view” must be activated ("x"). This will direct the camera to the candy, and the achievement will be unlocked.
  • Sometimes a Romance Candy will be dropped by the Macaraccoon when the piñata is dumped into the garden from Gretchen Fetchem.
  • Macaraccoons do not like or dislike being watered with the Watering Can, though they will react to being watered by doing a spin jump
  • Asking a Macaraccoon to fetch Romance Candy multiple times in a row will lower its happiness.

Mongo Macaraccoon.

Mongo Macaraccoon is the character of focus in the TV series episode Mad Mongo. At first he was a Sour Macaraccoon. After eating Cluckles legs he transformed into a regular Macaraccoon. At the end of the episode after driving Franklin Fizzlybear he transformed into a Sour again and turned Franklin into a nervous wreck.
