Freshly qualified in all the latest techniques for curing, healing and repairing Piñatas, Doc Patchingo has come to Piñata Island to set up his new practice. He's still a bit nervous but he hasn't lost one yet (at least not if he arrives in time). If a pinata is attacked, loses a fight or eats something poisonous, call the Doc as fast as possible.

Doc Patchingo (ドクターパチンゴが Dokutāpachingo ga) is the village doctor who heals sick piñatas. He runs the doctor's office, where gardeners can hire him to heal sick resident piñatas before Dastardos beats them to pieces. It is not possible to hire him to heal non resident piñatas. He is on call 24 hours a day. After you have visited his shop once, you can call him to your garden by selecting a sick piñata and pressing .

The first time a resident piñata gets sick he heals the piñata for free automatically, and in Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise he and Dastardos both appear to claim the sick piñata and Doc Patchingo heals it before Dastardos can destroy it.

• The price to heal a sick Piñata is 10% of the value of the piñata.
