The Dessert Desert is a region in Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise that is attached to the garden. Like a real world desert most of the ground is made up of sand. In it piñatas constantly enter and leave the boundaries. To get piñatas out of the Dessert Desert they must be trapped and then sent into the main garden. Langston Lickatoad manages a shop called Langstons TrapEase, and here he sells bait and traps to make this possible.
Both Piñatas not found in the main garden and Variants of species which appear in the garden can be found in the Dessert Desert.
