Decorations are objects that can be placed in the garden. Decoration items include fences, paving, toys, Tower of Sour blockers, and the objects that are automatically placed outside the garden in Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise such as the Bouncer Board.

Despite the name, some decorations affect the garden, such as the Bouncer Board being able to be used to block certain piñata species from entering the garden, or the Water Waiver reducing the rate at which plants lose water.

Pre-Installed Decorations

Bouncer Board

The Bouncer Board is a special object introduced in Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise that prevents wild piñatas of specified species from visiting the garden. After gaining the Master Romancer award for a specific piñata that can visit a garden, it will appear on a list where it can be banned.

Types of Decorations

Paving

Main article: Paving

Paving is a type of decoration that can be placed in the garden, which act as a path surface. Paving can be used to mark roads or paths.

Lights

Some decorations act as lights in the garden, such as the Firebrand, Gallows Lantern, Moon-on-a-Stick, Lantern O' Loot, and Jar 'o' Light. There is a fixed limit of 15 lights in a specific garden, and attempting to buy more garden items from Costolot's Store will result in Lottie complaining about excessive lights in the garden and refusing to allow the purchase.
