Viva Piñata Wiki

Did you see that Bunnycomb appear! He must be able to smell the carrot in your garden.

Leafos after the Bunnycomb appears.

The Bunnycomb is a blue bunny piñata. They love to hop around the garden and have a great love for carrots. They also get scared of the Pretztail, a piñata that they despise. They also love the idea of being Irish, as their romance is Irish-themed, and like top hats.

Who doesn’t love a Bunnycomb? Whether you’re a party host, looking to liven things up, or a Piñata lover with a weakness for cuteness, or a hungry piñata on the prowl, you’re always happy to see this hoppy hare.

You can find special arctic-color variants in the Piñarctic.

Appearance[]

The Bunnycomb is a blue bunny piñata with a partially white forehead and a small light blue stub of a tail. It has long, pointy ears and has a green iris. Glitches and Errors[]

  • The Bunnycomb might not leave its house if directed to it in Trouble in Paradise. If this happens, you should sell the house and purchase a new one.
  • If sent to a party with a Halo of Hardness, the piñata might not come back and will appear invisible in your garden, which can be “seen” with a shovel. This only seems to happen in the original Viva Piñata.
  • In the original Viva Piñata, the journal entry for the Bunnycomb incorrectly states that it needs to eat 3 carrots to become a resident when it really only needs to eat 2.

In the TV Series[]

Other Characters[]

There seems to be a lot of unnamed Bunnycombs in the show that can be seen in the background.

Commonly Asked Questions[]

In Viva Piñata, it says the Bunnycomb needs to eat 3 Carrots to become resident but only eats 2. Is this an error?

  • This is in fact an error. The Bunnycomb actually only needs to eat 2 Carrots to become resident. This error was corrected in Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, where the journal correctly states that it needs to eat 2 carrots. However, in Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise, the Bunnycomb does have to eat 3 carrots in total before it will become resident.

I directed my Bunnycomb to its house and it’s not coming out. What should I do?

  • This seems to only happen in Trouble in Paradise. If you want the piñata to come out of the home, the only way to do so is by selling the house and rebuying it.

Trivia[]

  • Leafos will hand you two seeds at the beginning of Viva Piñata. Choosing the brown and yellow seed will grow a Carrot, and will eventually make the Bunnycomb appear.
  • The Bunnycomb is one of the more popular piñata. It is seen on the Xbox 360 Viva Piñata video game case and even in its guidebook.
